People in the eastern United States, from the southern Gulf coast all the way north to New England, are cleaning up in the wake of Hurricane Ivan Sunday.

A news report says helicopters are delivering food and supplies to a few hard hit areas. Rescue crews are looking for the missing, while more than one million people are without electricity or other basic services.

One million evacuees are trying to return to their homes.

Ivan killed at least 107 people in the United States and the Caribbean.

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Jeanne is closing in on the Bahamas, after killing at least nine people in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
