Most of the theologians hardly know Prophet Elijah John and how could they know Christ Jesus which they address as Jesus Christ?
Christ was never born and He never died but Jesus.
If you know in whose name John was baptising men in water, how he turned stones into the sons of Abraham or why John was not called after his father’s surname, then you are twice-born capable of understanding Gospel through the formula:-
Holy Scriptures + holy spirit (common sense) = Gospel.
